Production Planner

£35K- £38K

Aldermaston
***A Production Planner is being requested to work in a leading manufacturing company to work within the Production and Calibration Department. This is also a Team Leader role where you will be managing the your area


Responsibilities

  • Ensure Production orders are well organised, distributed and assigned to Gauging, Subcontractors and Calibration Engineers to meet Customer requirements.
  • Assign repairs and Recalibration Sales orders to engineers in line with delivery requirements.
  • Distribute and organise completed orders from Calibration engineers to dispatch in line with Sales order shipping dates.
  • Update Non-Conformance register from forms actioned by Calibration Engineers.
  • Prepare for and attend the Weekly Production meeting.
  • Create and manage reports/spreadsheets for major production projects.
  • Process all documents that will require further investigation or improvements, such as NCR.
  • Ensure that your team are following company guidelines and procedures
  • Attend Health and Safety Audits and Department Head meetings
  • Highlight "Near misses" and possible Risks within your area
  • Be involved with Staff review meetings alongside HR
  • Create and Manage improvement plans

Experience / Skills

  • Good knowledge of MRP systems (SAGE would be an advantage) and proficient In Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge on Non-Conformance (training will be provided).
  • Good people skills

Working hours - Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)
