The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable and incredibly well known business based in Corby.
My client is searching for an Experienced Payroll Officer to join an established finance function.As the Payroll Officer you will be solely responsible for the payroll function and report directly into the senior finance management.
This is a permanent, full-time role - predominantly office based.As the Payroll Officer, your key duties will include:
- Collating all payroll data ready for 4-weekly and monthly payroll submissions
- Inputting / updating relevant data in the time & attendance and payroll systems
- Reviewing approved hours to ensure accuracy of payment
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records
- Responding to payroll queries within a timely manner
- Managing related reporting (HMRC and Pensions)
- Calculating average holiday pay
- Producing payroll reports and process payments
- Any other ad hoc duties to support Finance
Key skills and attributes required for the Payroll Officer Role:
- Previous payroll experience, minimum of 2 years
- Payroll software experience, mainly for weekly payroll
- Up to date knowledge of legislation
- Excellent attention to detail skills
- Proactive approach in order to hit deadlines

Salary:
£30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
