Description

Tidyco is a family run engineering company based in Derby since 1974 and looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our team.

We are currently seeking a handyman who can help with the general maintenance of the properties and keeping a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors.

The post holder will report to the Production Director.

Duties and responsibilities:

Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
Installing appliances such as dishwashers
Installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
Fitting shelves, hanging pictures and installing window locks
Assembling furniture
Conducting emergency audits
Undertaking basic gardening
Performing maintenance and light repairs
Performing routine landscaping on the grounds
Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc.
Perform maintenance and light repairs
Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, pavements, etc.)
Repair equipment or appliances
Identify and report the need for major repairs
Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow, remedial repairs)
