Radio Communications Team Leader:


What you need to know about the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader covering support for the site radio communications. This role will involve managing a small group of technicians and 3rd party specialists.

The scope of this role ranges from current digital equipment to legacy analogue radio equipment.

General duties will incorporate deputising for your Maintenance Engineer as required, planning and organising work, responding to breakdowns, verbal and written reports, interaction with other Process Control professionals and manufacturing departments.


You will be responsible for executing inspection, maintenance, diagnosis/repair and improvement activities to a wide range of radio communication equipment used across plant areas.

The role will include planning, and installation of new radio equipment. You will deliver safe, effective and efficient standards of workmanship together with environmental control.


What we need to know about you


We are looking for someone with experience/knowledge in a similar technical role, a familiarity and understanding of radio communication would be an advantage.

Computer literacy skills will be required, although training will be delivered on our specific systems.

Good industrial experience of maintenance, fault finding and repair skills are also required.


You must be self-motivated, innovative and be capable of seeking continuous improvement in the process and the reliability of the equipment in your area.

You should also have good communication and people management skills.
