The Sales Specialist (IP Migrations) is a key enterprise sales specialist for a designated product, industry area and technology, executing the identification, generation, and delivery of a pipeline of sales opportunities for an industry portfolio supporting commercial growth with the vertical.

What you'll be doing

  • Executes sales and go-to-market strategies for products and services that drive customer success and account revenues within defined segment.
  • Supports new sales activities in targeted accounts through leveraging influence on customer and industry relationships.
  • Drives customer and partner feedback to aide product and services development.
  • Executes the business plan strategy for defined accounts, contributing towards the success of the strategic and tactical elements of the plan in order to deliver results through the financial year and beyond.
  • Develops customer pipelines, deal orchestration and closing for the team.
  • Ensures a comprehensive and deep understanding of customers, a challenges and an industry vertical aligning with the BT Group's propositions.
  • Utilises specialist understanding of the BT Group's service and product portfolio to facilitate opportunities with potential customers.
  • Mentors other sales specialists, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.

  • Good understanding of the UK Government market and frameworks/ procurement routes.
