Senior Buyer, Indirect Procurement


Location:

LHH Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a reputable tech company that is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head Of Procurement, you will be expected to work closely with a Procurement Business Partner to ensure the efficient & cost effective implementation of the company's strategic procurement strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing the end to end of contract negotiations, renewal and cost approvals
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing strong supplier management processes and key suppliers utilising esourcing tools
  • Expert in managing supplier relationships and dealing with supplier negotiations on pricing in order to deliver savings, reduce risk and deliver commercial value
  • To increase strategic sourcing using spend analytics and contractual data
  • Working closely with Procurement Business Partner ensuring the procurement controls, policies and processes are adhered by the business, developing new controls where appropriate
  • Identifying supplier and procurement risk through all stages of supplier engagement
  • Methods in procurement process in tendering process using (RFI/RFP/Eauctions)
  • Strong usage of technology to increase efficiencies

What you need to succeed:


  • MCIPS preferred or willingness to study for MCIPS
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Project management or change skills preferred
  • Having a broad mindset with high agility work ethics
  • Strong procurement technology experiences is a plus
  • Strong indirect procurement strategy
  • People skills with the ability to motivate and influence others with strong negotiation skills
  • Able to manage stakeholders with strong communication/interpersonal skills with building key relationships
  • Relationship management skills and contract negotiation experience
  • Curious, willing to learn and a team player with motivation to succeed
