Vintage Threads is one of the UK's leading premium vintage retailers with two shops in London, an international online audience and over 200,000 followers on social platforms.

Our mission is to bring about real change to the fashion industry by making vintage more accessible and stylish in order to be the best possible alternative to fast fashion.

Every piece that we sell has been handpicked from around the world and we typically sell a highly curated selection of both designer and sportswear from the 80s, 90s and early 00s.

The VT Rework is a major part of the VT brand, where we use damaged and un-loved items and create one of a king vintage pieces which are loved in our Covent Garden store.

Our team is full of young energetic and ambitious people who are truly passionate about vintage and the story we are trying to create through the items we source and produce and we would love whoever fills this position to share this passion.

What Is The Role?

You will be the assistant manager of our brand new store in Covent Garden which will be roughly 3 times the size of our current store.

This is a massive step up for the brand and an incredible opportunity to cement our name as the best vintage shop in the UK.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a fast paced retail environment and is interested in the evolution of retail on the high street.

You will be undertaking

Helping to curate stock in the shop depending on the demand and the trends
Resource planning
Organise & manage in store events & partnerships
Open & close the shop
Manage the VIP customers
Experience in interviews, hiring and training new staff members
Organising staff rota
Leadership
Resolving customer service
Ensuring store is in good conditions and visual merchandising
Maintain store standards
Train, develop and motivate team members
Key holding position

What We Are Looking For

1+ years customer service and retail store supervisor experience
Excellent attention to detail
Team player with ability to create a positive working environment
Flexibility and ability to lead a day at any of our store locations.
Eagerness and a passion for content creation

Experience

You need to have worked in retail before. The shop is very busy and you should be comfortable with dealing with multiple customers, keeping on eye on standards and also bringing new ideas to the table

There is huge potential within Vintage Threads to help scale the business within the Uk and globally.

Salary:
£11.00-£13.00 per hour
