Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full time CBTp Practitioner for Psychosis within the Mid Notts Early Intervention in Psychosis team.


You will provide a specialist CBT(p) service to people accessing the cameo early intervention for psychosis service in CPFT as well as provide advice and consultation on psychological related aspects of care to colleagues within the service and to other agencies involved where appropriate.


You will:

- deliver CBT(p) informed by individual need and which utilise the appropriate range of cognitive behavioural theoretical and therapeutic models.
- continually monitor and evaluate the cognitive behavioural interventions provided, employing service specific outcome measures as required, reformulating and adjusting hypotheses and interventions as new information becomes available and liaising effectively with other professionals involved.
- provide specialist professional contributions to relevant multi-agency clinical meetings.
- undertake risk assessment and risk management when working directly with clients and to provide advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management, relating to the client and to others.
- contribute directly and indirectly to a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients within the Service and, where appropriate, across all settings and agencies serving the client group.
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation to both the specific client group and mental health.
