Description
Our client is currently recruiting for a
Payroll Officer on a
permanent contract. The organisation has offices in Coventry, Reading and Bournemouth and the position can be based from any these offices.


The position is
almost fully remote, requiring attendance the office
once per month.The salary is circa
£35,000 based on experience.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist the team with the processing of payroll for 850 monthly staff on the iTrent system, including starters and leavers
  • Aid in quality checking and audit follow up, supporting the monthly Payroll processing for both the midmonth expenses run and main pay run
  • Support in the creation of scheduled and adhoc data requests/reports, utilising spreadsheets (including vlookups), iTrent reports and business objects
  • Support the administration of employee benefits offering, including but not limited to Company Cars and pension
  • Support monthly and annual reward and payroll activities, including Auto Enrolment, P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreement, flex bens renewal and pay review

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:


  • Intermediate Excel level including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Knowledge of iTrent
  • Experience processing end to end payroll

  • 37.5 hours per week
