As a Senior Account Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions within the organisationYour duties will include:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Conduct monthly and yearend closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to management for decisionmaking purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
