As a Senior Account Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions within the organisation


Your duties will include:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Conduct monthly and yearend closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to management for decisionmaking purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
