Job Introduction
Are you a qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) looking for a new opportunity?

We are currently recruiting to two Full time posts in our Hastings and Bexhill Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in East Sussex.

The MHST's deliver evidence-based interventions using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic (CBT) approach in schools.

We work directly with children and young people aged 7-17 with mild to moderate mental health issues, and their parents and carers.

We also work with schools to develop or enhance their whole school approach to emotional/mental health and wellbeing.

We are looking for people who have:

Passion and commitment for working with children and young people
Understanding of children and young people's mental health
Knowledge of school systems
Strong organisational skills

You will receive Clinical and Case Management supervision to support your interventions and have access to comprehensive training opportunities to enhance your skills and develop professionally in your role.

Please include confirmation that you have completed the PGDip Education Mental Health Practitioner and can evidence experience of providing CBT informed interventions with children and young people. Applications without this qualification will not be shortlisted.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
