We're searching for a motivated, ambitious and adaptable Management Accountant to join a growing national firm of accountants that embrace modern ways of working.


If you're a skilled bookkeeper and can prepare and review management accounts to an exceptional standard, always striving to deliver excellence, we'd like to hear from you in utmost confidence.

You'll be a qualified or part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience within practice. You'll also be a self-starter with a natural talent for inspiring those around you. Good communication skills will be essential, and you'll have the ability toconfidently lead a client-facing role.

Job Purpose

  • Preparation and review of management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
  • Preparation and review of reconciliation of VAT Returns.
  • Preparation and review of reconciliation of control accounts.
  • Preparation and review of budgets, cashflows and financial forecasts.
  • Provide detailed analysis for Partners to review before client meetings.
  • Deliver valued input on the financial goals and performance of the business.
  • Travel from time to time to client premises.
  • Build trusted and longlasting relationships with clients.
  • Support Managers and Partners with ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • ACCA, ACA or CA qualified or part qualified with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Qualified by experience within practice would also be considered.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Selfmotivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
