We have an opportunity for a
Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Sherborne.

Overall function and description of the job:
Responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items around the site. Supervising the day to day running of the warehouse and its employees.

Main duties:

Provide lead support to those working in the warehouse and packing areas.
Pick goods as specified by production planning for delivery to production departments.
Update and communicate to all staff with what tasks/orders must be completed.
Check orders to be dispatched; liaise with shipping for transport dates & times.
Supply packing details to shipping and order packing materials.
Check orders on the system using the company IT system.
Ensure that packing and packaging is cost effective and suitable for products being handled and/or dispatched.
Prepare the warehouse for stocktake when required to do so.
General warehouse administration.
Deputies as cover for absences at "Ipoint" when required
Responsible for the general cleaning/tidying of the outside yard
