Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individual's to join our team as a Driver's Mate. As a Driver's Mate, you will assist the driver in delivering goods and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
  • Safely secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit
  • Accompany the driver on delivery routes and provide support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing friendly and professional service
  • Follow delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of deliveries
  • Help resolve any customer concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the day
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)
