This role will assist in leading the overall planning function at a divisional level.

Ensure adequate resources and training are provided to ensure that each tender and project have the appropriate level of support.

Review the buildability of projects and produce/develop contractually compliant tender & construction programmes based on budget, work scope and available resources.

Monitor progress on site and update the programme in accordance with contract conditions.


ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES (Specific accountabilities for the role)

  • Mentor engineering and commercial staff to develop planning knowledge.
  • Engage with senior commercial staff to provide input into accurate forecasting.
  • Support commercial staff with the prosecution of claims.
  • Contribute to divisional Right Works strategy and divisional Plans.
  • Planning lead on our major projects when appropriate.
  • Ensure contract programmes are resourced and cost loaded if appropriate.
  • Understand project requirements (tender, form of contract, deliverables, drawings, specifications, etc), review buildability and prepare robust fully logic linked tender programme detailing required resources.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proven experience in construction planning or related role
  • Proficiency in using planning systems and software such as Power Project
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detailoriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
