Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a highly established company in Bristol who are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team.


The Company:


The Health and Safety Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant workplace for employees, customers, and business partners.

You will need to drive continuous improvement within the businessand establish a positive health and safety environment.


The Role:


  • As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be implementing in depth and Health and Safety training programmes as well as completing risk assessment programmes.
  • You will be responsible for Emergency and Contingency Plans.
  • Overseeing emergency procedures and responses.
  • Establishing robust fire and life safety management principles across the business.
  • The Health and Safety Manager will need to ensure a highclass safety culture throughout the business.
  • Ensuring that all accidents and incidents are reported, investigated, and acted on
  • Carrying out regular safety inspections

Experience Required:


  • You will need previous experience in managing Health and Safety
  • The ideal Health and Safety Manager will need experience within a highly regulated environment preferably the aviation industry
  • Hold or working towards Chartered Membership of IOSH or equivalent
  • Experience of managing 1SO45001 or equivalent
  • Experience of internal auditing to OHSAS 18001 or equivalent
  • Previous experience of continuity management and risk management
  • As the Health and Safety Manager you will need to have the ability to adapt to priorities changing
  • Ability to manage and influence a number of stakeholders of all levels
  • The Health and Safety Manager needs to be able to turn information into Health and Safety actions and improvements
