Construction Finisher
New Build housing
North West
£30k + van + fuel card, tools and company benefit
39 hours per week


A busy house builder seeks to appoint a Construction Finisher to join their Customer Care and finishing team working on new build housing developments in the North West region.


The company have built an excellent reputation building quality homes for a wide range of buyers, they also pride themselves on building a quality home that suits the needs of their buyers offering exceptional customer service from pre-sale through to aftercare.

The duties of the role will be to carry out a high standard of finishings to new build housing,
Works will include carpentry/joinery, Plumbing, Painting, Mastic, Tiling, etc prior to customer handover.

There may also be times where you will assist with customer car defects once customers have moved into properties throughout the warranty period.


Construction Finisher role:
" Undertake remedial work with respect to all trades including carpentry, painting, dry lining, and any other duties as directed by the Inspection Manager
" Undertake inspections of potential defects
" Assist on site with production plot snagging and finishing work and any stock plot maintenance
" Source materials and equipment required to complete tasks
" Undertake regular customer liaison with customers in their homes
" Have the ability to remain calm and professional when faced with difficult situations
" Effectively communicate with the Customer Service Help Desk to ensure they are kept up to date
" Have the ability to communicate accurately at the same level of understanding with the customer
" Ensure that Health and Safety is followed, and site regulations are adhered to at all times
" Demonstrate a good understanding of NHBC standards and achieving
" Have the ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
" Good time keeping is essential and the ability to manage an electronic diary system will be needed

Skills required

" Experienced in multi trades
" Experience of working in occupied homes
" Ability to work using own initiative
" Clean driving licence preferred
" Experience of working in new build homes
" Self driven highly motivated and a can-do attitude
