Central Employment is working with a leading facilities management group who are looking to take on an experienced Business Application Support Specialist to work full-time in their Gateshead office.

You'll be working alongside an established and skilled team in order to provide rapid and accurate support to the wider business.

The team's ultimate goal is to ensure the smooth running of the Business IT requirements.


Our client is an established and leading facilities management group who are looking to increase its IT support capabilities across a number of roles.

In this role you'd be joining the Bussiness Application Support team, reporting to the IT Business Support Manager, as you provide 2nd line support as well as resolving any issues with Bussiness Applications.

Due to this dynamic workload, each day will be different as you work within a close-knit team providing ongoing administration and technical support.


To be successful in this role, our client is looking for someone who has spent a few years working in IT Support, knowledgable in 2nd line support with experience working with Business Applications.

This can be in any commercial environment, ideally where you've been part of a team that has been successful in streamlining support for the whole organisation.

As a person you'll work with a logical and structured approach, keeping to deadlines is something you find easy, and being an effective communicator in order to explain solutions to members of the company who require assistance.


Key Responsibilities:

Administration and control of all internal line of business support systems.
Support development and deployment of new Applications and upgrades/enhancements.
End-user support.
Create and update administration documentation.


Key Experience:

A proven logical and structured approach to problem-solving.
Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Capable of identifying problems, and taking responsibility to resolve them.
Thrives working in a close-knit team.


Key Benefits:
