Within this role you will be able to:

  • Shape technology to meet business needs.
  • Have accountability for e2e designs across the IT ecosystem.
  • Influence to define and set IT strategy and roadmap.
  • Work with a brilliant team to support your growth.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be delivering and assuring technical architecture artefacts for projects.
  • You will be steering and talking with stakeholders across the organisation to define technology change.
  • You will be working across key projects & programmes to design and deliver technology solutions with a clear view on strategic and tactical technology choices.
  • You will regularly provide technology governance to ensure that solutions are aligned to the IT and business strategies.
  • You will assist in delivering technical solutions that provide business advantage to Vodafone through effective right time, right cost, and right solution design.
  • You will play an energetic part in design reviews ensuring compliance to the target architecture.
  • You will regularly present to the IT management team technology choices and recommendations.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will proactively identify capability gaps across the endtoend architecture and promote initiatives to fix them.
  • You will constantly make judgements when looking at change and see the impacts to the related architectural domain considering long terms factors.
Highlight dependencies and resolves conflicts in different areas.

  • You will regularly shape and influence senior stakeholders to agree aspects of the IT strategy, priority, and future investment.
  • You clearly understand the business strategy and coordinate this with the development of the IT strategy.
  • You will possess a development mindset by managing and supporting other Solutions Architects to deliver the design and maximising value for a portfolio.
  • You will be effectively communicating aspects of the IT strategy, architecture, and business choices in business terms and develop roadmaps in specific areas.
