Parkinson Lee are the retained partners to a £50million turnover, fast growing, highly entrepreneurial family-owned manufacturing organisation in the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer.

This is a business with a strong heritage and reputation for high quality, bespoke products. They are a market leader in the UK.


The business has experienced exponential growth in recent years and is now looking to maximise its scale by realising all profitable opportunities open to them.


They are very people focussed and customer centric business, and in recent years have gradually become vertically integrated with the aim of delivering a consistent and reliable customer experience, they go above and beyond to exceed expectations.


The Executive Leadership Team are now focussed on developing their brand further with a series of rebranding initiatives being introduced and significant increased allocation to their marketing spend in 2023.


After a successful number of years with the business, the current CFO will leave during 2023, as a result an opportunity now exists for a new Chief Financial Officer.


The CFO will lead a large finance team in addition to taking responsibility for the IT, Analytics, Property Management, Legal and Regulatory and Compliance business units.

The CFO will work closely with the Board to continue to execute their strategic vision to ensure all opportunities are maximised in a financially efficient manner with the key focus on EBITDA growth.

Parkinson Lee are searching for a CFO with the following attributes:

  • An experienced CFO / Finance Director who has been in a number one finance role within an SME of at least £20million revenue
  • A solid understanding of consumer focussed manufacturing
  • Multisite experience
  • Proven multidisciplined leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach and develop staff to increase the depth of talent across the company
  • A proven background with improving operational process and financial performance to drive profit and EBITDA
  • Excellent communication skills across all dimensions of the business (shop floor to the boardroom) with an opendoor policy
  • An individual who continuously builds relationships with key stakeholders within the business and externally with banks, auditors, etc.
  • Promoting the continuous development of the company's culture and values to ensure a high level of employee engagement and wellbeing
  • Previous experience of working within family owned or private businesses would be an advantage
  • Confident, outgoing personality with a passion for leading teams
