About us

Purpose of position:

Oversee & manage the day to day Production Schedule

Main Responsibilities:

Release Work Orders (W.O's) into production ensuring it accurately matches the Manufacturing Schedule and overall Production intent while keeping in mind customer requirements.
Responsible for planning all areas within Production
Daily review of demand vs supply and action as required
Responsible for real time planning as soon SO is created
WO planned based on material availability
Liaise closely with Customer Service team to confirm planned ship dates & any expedite requests as appropriate
Agreeing & issuing daily production schedule with Shift Managers
Real time checking of current job status escalating those not to schedule to Production Manager, Shift Manager & Process Engineer
Review and determine process for Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) and use data to drive improvements and reduce lead times
Plan & Manage required preventative maintenance with mínimal disruption to production schedule
Coordination with all departments
CS, Design, Production etc to meet customer requirements
Drive down Lead Times in all areas (committing to new order, Mfg)
Identify and provide solutions to minimise and eliminate capacity constraints
Resource Management

Building comprehensive systems to create full planning visibility

Qualifications/ experience:

Experience within planning / scheduling role within Manufacturing Environment
Knowledge of Supply/Demand process be adaptable to fast changing Production environment, customer focused
Team player highly motivated individual who can work on own initiative
Attention to detail
Good communication skills, good organisational skills

System Skills - Excel, create & analyse data (spreadsheets) E-mail, Internal Databases
