Our client is a multi-award-winning medical communications agency.

With offices throughout the world, they are currently looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join their team in Berkshire with opportunity for flexible working.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of medical communications including medical affairs, publications, medical education, and more.

You will create engaging content across multiple therapy areas while mentoring juniormembers of the team. Working closely with clients as a point of contact, you will also take part in some business development.

An opportunity like this would be perfect for a Medical Writer keen to get involved in aspects of the client services side of the business alongside creating content as a writer.

Responsibilities:

Research, write and edit a full range of medical education and communications materials
Develop, implement, and manage the delivery of projects
Liaise with pharmaceutical industry key contacts, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
Support the delivery of scientific meetings including premeeting and onsite activities, preparation of content, liaison with clients, faculty, speakers and technical team

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Life science degree
Previous medical writing experience gained in a medical education and communications agency environment
Excellent scientific writing and ability to adapt style and content for different target audiences
Attention to detail style/consistency, grammar, syntax, scientific accuracy, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
