£31,458 - £36,780 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

We are the voice of dentists and dental students in the UK. We bring dentists together, support our members through advice and education, and represent their interests.

This is a challenging and dynamic period for dentistry and the BDA is recruiting a 1st/2ndLine Engineer to join our busy IT department.

About the role:

The main focus of the role is to ensure the provision of a high performance, fault tolerant business systems infrastructure to the BDA's users and members.

The post holder will also work closely with IT colleagues on the development of the IT systems.

This role would involve managing and supporting BDA users (both on-site and home-based staff) to a 1st and 2nd line level in a timely fashion being accountable for issues that occur and being proactive in searching for potential problems.

The post-holderwill be required to maintain accurate Helpdesk logs while carrying out the work so that the team are kept up to date as well as support project work.

About you:

The postholder will require knowledge and experience of Microsoft Windows 10/Windows 11, Office 365 administration including SharePoint online and VPN/Connectivity platforms.

They will also have good oral and written communications skills to provide a strongcustomer focus and good time management skills.
