Trainee Technician

Salary:
£28,000 - £30,000

Location:
Keighley, Shipley, Bradford and Leeds

Hours:
Rotating Shift

Due to continued growth, this company are looking to strengthen and expand its maintenance department and as such are now looking to add a Trainee Technician to their established workforce.


The Role:


  • To assist the maintenance team in dealing with both planned and responsive issues on site
  • To contribute in delivering of KPI's within the maintenance department
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure the ordering and supply of machine specific parts
  • To familiarise yourself with breakdown history to ensure the shortest possible machine downtime
  • Attending meetings with the maintenance / technical team
  • To be involved in the expediting of work orders, ensuring a thorough review of the process

You will need:


  • A knowledge of maintenance procedures, processes and terminology
  • A knowledge of project management with a view to reducing departmental downtime
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage high workloads
  • The ability to respond
  • A good knowledge of IT
