**Rate:
- up to £23.29/hr LTD umbrella**
Position Description:Quality Engineer required to be part of our engineering quality team driving our engineering technical quality agenda for all of Product Engineering throughout vehicle lifecycle. This role will interact with all of Product Engineering supporting transformationprojects, external quality issues, internal quality issues and Customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the role will drive activities to deliver Quality targets for Product Engineering


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Delivery of input, maintenance and reporting of Engineering Quality Scorecard
  • Delivery of Product Engineering Quality SharePoint metrics
  • Support delivery of Product Engineering Quality which is our forum for initiating change for quality processes and projects improving vehicle quality.
  • Support in delivery of the Agile Framework and tool set (Including Confluence, JIRA Projects) within Engineering Quality
  • Support Senior Quality Engineers on resolving engineering issues through data analysis and working with Manufacturing, Centre of Competence, Suppliers, Product Investigation (Service) and Dealers
  • Lead transformation projects to support continuous quality improvements within the Engineering Quality Domain
  • Any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job may be requested

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of and experience in using Tableau and Microsoft Office Strong analytical ability, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Project management skills
  • Well organised, methodical, exhaustive and structured
  • Ability to interface and communicate confidently
  • Ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrable business acumen
  • Naturally pays attention to detail
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills providing the ability to represent the team at meetings

Preferred:

Understanding and knowledge of Agile methodologies


Education:

Degree-level qualification or equivalent
