Teaching Personnel is looking for an outstanding English teacher to work at a 'good' secondary school in South Bristol.
This is a long-term, full-time position that will begin within the Easter and will last until the end of the academic year, with the possibilityof extension.

Delivering lessons in both English Literature and English Language:
- Implementing strategies to
keep students as engaged as possible, ensuring that students stay on task and focused throughout the lesson.
Setting homework tasks that allow students to reflect on the work they have completed, as well as setting specific goals for students.

Supporting students with special needs and collaborating with support staff to provide a well-rounded learning experience for all students.

Regularly providing feedback on student performance, liaising with the Head of Department, and providing updates at departmental meetings.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status in English Literature or English Language

An enhanced child only DBS:
- Obtains a
Safeguarding certificate:
Experience within the classroom in
KS3 and KS4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
