C++ Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and develop new products
  • Mentor and coach other engineers
  • Support technical bid and project activities
  • Interface with wider development teams and clients as required

Requirements:


  • Strong C++ skills
  • Experience with modern libraries, including STL and Apache libraries (NiFi, etc.)
  • Good grasp of networking fundamentals
  • Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly
  • Proven problemsolving and faultfinding skills
  • Evidence of innovation and initiative
  • Linux and Windows development experience
  • Experience with scripting languages

Desired Skills:

  • Scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, or Bash
  • Docker experience
  • Knowledge of distributed version control systems
  • Experience with automated build and continuous integration suites
  • Understanding of lowlevel computing concepts
  • Experience with defect tracking software (JIRA preferred)
  • Experience planning, estimating, and designing system components
  • Customer facing skills
  • Knowledge of VoIP/VTC standards
