Providing excellent facilities to host a variety of scheduled private and community focused activities, celebrations and parties, Great Denham Community Hall are looking to recruit a committed Function/Party Hall Supervisor to join their current team, on an
ad-hoc basis.

Working either alone, or with an assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of public bookings such as weddings and parties, in line with the approved booking terms and conditions and statutory legislation requirements.

This requires key communication and people skills, with the ability to adequately manage sometimes challenging situations with confidence, but also customer focus.

Previous experience in a customer facing role within the hospitality industry or similar, would be beneficial.

The post will require weekend and evening working, as well as a physical element of setting up and packing away large amounts of furniture when needed.

The post holder will therefore need to have a flexible approach to work, and be able to manage the practical aspects of the job.

Work will be offered as and when bookings are taken but are predominantly weekends which can include late nights and events where alcohol is present.

Salary:
£10.65/hour

Post would suit somebody fairly local to the area - must be willing to work weekends/evenings on a purely ad-hoc basis
