    The Role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Trainee to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of IT and a relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) to launch their career in a hands-on, supportive environment.

    You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, working closely with the IT Support Manager and Senior IT Engineer to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide first-line technical support to staff, resolving basic IT issues efficiently and professionally
    • Monitor and respond to IT support tickets via phone, email, or face-to-face interaction
    • Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
    • Assist in maintaining and monitoring IT systems and applications
    • Manage IT equipment inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
    • Perform routine maintenance and health checks on IT hardware
    • Support onboarding processes by setting up user accounts and providing basic IT inductions
    • Evaluate more complex issues and escalate them to the IT Support Manager or Senior IT Engineer as necessary
    • Support wider IT projects and tasks as required
