The role
As a Material Planner/Controller you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

A Supply Chain Planning Specialist is an entry‐level professional role in the Supply Chain Planning discipline of the Procurement &Supply Chain role family.

Requiring exposure to the fundamental theories, principles, and concepts of this professional discipline through education or work experience, this role works under regular supervision and undertakes routine or standard assignments.

This may be as part of a structured graduate programme, in a direct‐entry graduate position or in progression from another career pathway


Day to day,

  • Develop and action IFS systems, processes, and procedures for commercial business activities carriedout by Project groups in Support of the Procurement Department.
  • Add project requirements to IFS utilising the agreed company process & carry out manual Material Requirements Planning process on material requests.
  • Ensure Material Control process is effective and efficient and that all project and overhead stakeholders receive an excellent service ensuring material demands are managed.
  • Execute Job Order Closedown process throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Arrange for materials to be picked and issued from stores in line with company procedures.

Essential experience of the Material Planner/Controller

Must have:


  • Qualification in an engineeringbased discipline

Advantageous:


  • Experience in a Material Procurement environment
This role is based full time at Rosyth.
