Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for employees and visitors.
We also require litter picking, weed removal of external areas and clearing of leaves in appropriate seasons
Shifts will be 2 hours in the evening Monday-Friday and 6 hours on Saturdays.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, library area and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Maintenance of external area to include, weed removal, litter picking, emptying bins, leaves clearing etc.
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
