Aeroco Group - A leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based at Stockport are currently recruiting a Production Planner to join our team.


Purpose
To work in conjunction with the Production Management Team, coordinating production workflow through the workshops.


The Production Planner will plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delays to customer expectation whilst also analysing sufficient manpower, tooling, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.


Key Tasks & responsibilities
This role encompasses, but it not limited to, the following key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Create production schedule in advance of release to Workshops
  • Track production hours ensuring accuracy assisting Commercial reporting and quotes
  • Review material availability to support production plan
  • Predict project completion schedule meeting customer expectation
  • Liaise with Commercial dept. to determine customer requirement
  • Review manhour availability taking into consideration skillset to deliver projects on time
  • Provide the Production Management team with regular updates, concentrating on potential issues, timescales, and materials.
  • To review all departmental holidays, attendance, and timekeeping to ensure no negative impact on production planning
  • Communicate daily with Purchasing and ensure smooth delivery of supporting materials and parts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy (e.g. Grade C GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
  • EASA Part 145 experience would be beneficial
