Purpose of role


We are looking for an individual who wants to join us to be the interface between Supply Chain and the Project Director.


We have the need for a dynamic Project Supply Chain Manager who is going to be the interface between the Project and the Supply Chain Pillars, developing and implementing a strategic solution with internal and external parties.


The Project Supply Chain Manager will be the central pivot point for the Supply Chain responsible to co-ordinate the Supply Chain Pillars providing a cradle to grave solution.


What are my key responsibilities?

  • Master scheduling / Understand Project / Product / Customer Requirements
  • Master scheduling / Understand Internal Constraints & Activities Chaining
  • Material scheduling / Manage Stock Policy and Size Inventory Levels
  • Material scheduling / Calculate and Update Forecasts
  • Material scheduling / Manage Material Availability (missing parts)
  • Material scheduling / Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product initialisation and Change
  • Material scheduling / Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product closure
  • Procurement / Manage Specific Conditions for Vendors
  • Logistics / Design Supply Chain processes vs Industrial requirements
  • Logistics / Define subcontractors' requirements
  • Logistics / Define Vendors' requirements regarding logistics
  • Coordinate the Supply Chain Pillars in execution of the defined work packages
  • Participate in Project Supply Chain and business reviews (WP review cycle, risk and opportunity sessions, saving sessions, obsolescence & change management)
  • Work according to valid directives and work instructions
  • To provide Supply Chain support for any reasonable identified activities / requirements

Knowledge & Experience

Essential:


  • Leadership initiative and decision minded
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills
  • Good practices of costing, planning, risk management
  • Ability to deliver QCD commitments on behalf of the organisation involved
  • Ability to foster communications between all stakeholders involved

Desirable:


  • Good knowledge of products and systems included within the WP and their interface
  • Reporting capabilities within systems and ability to explain variances.
