    Job Opportunity with Leading Adhesive Manufacturer

    We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing.

    This is a full-time position including but not limited to the following key responsibilities:

    • Technical Support
    • UK & European Business Support
      • Provide extensive technical support and backup to UK & European distributor network via phone, email, and in-person visits
      • Visit distributors, train staff, and attend joint customer visits
    • Technical Service Projects
      • Develop and implement testing programs
      • Generate supportive technical data
    • Maintaining Central Knowledge Database
      • Pipoplate product and application information for easy access by staff
    • Master Data File Updates
      • Populate and maintain company's master data file
    • Site Visits and Technical Assistance
      • Support internal sales staff technically during site visits
    • Tech Helpline and CRM Management
      • Manage technical helpline telephone and tech.support inbox
      • Update CRM database, forward sales leads to relevant salespeople and distributors
    • Presentations and Training
      • Prepare presentations and materials
      • Host webinars, training sessions, and hands-on demonstrations
    • Quality Control and Document Control
      • Arrange QC cover for adequate coverage on days that the QC technician is unavailable
      • Cover during sickness or holidays
      • Create and control technical datasheets
      • Write technical articles and product PR in collaboration with marketing department
      • Produce technical content for blog, brochures, distributor website, etc. supporting marketing activities
      • Create case studies, application profiles, and product sales tools
    • Business Innovation
      • Identify and attend relevant conferences and exhibitions
      • Identify and attend relevant training courses to enhance skills
    • General Responsibilities
      • Conduct housekeeping audits
      • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of working environment and site
      • Ensure accident-free working

      Qualifications and Education Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in science-based field, engineering background, good working knowledge of MS Office suite
      • Fully qualified driver
