    Description

    Field Service Engineer (Weighing Equipment / Metrology)

    We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in a highly successful business that specializes in servicing, calibrating, and repairing scales, balances, and weighing equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Visit client sites to install, perform planned preventative maintenance, service, and repair industrial, retail, and medical scales and other equipment as required.
    • Conduct on-site calibrations and repairs where necessary.
    • Complete calibration certificates and paperwork on site.
    • Provide exceptional customer service.
    • Report any sales opportunities back to the office.
    • Update Office 365 diary to ensure visibility for the service and admin teams.
    • Respond to customer callouts within 8 working hours and keep customers informed of any delays.

    Requirements:

    • A proven track record in maintenance, repair, and calibration, preferably within weighing equipment or metrology.
    • Multiskilled with the ability to adapt to various situations.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
