Job Information:


You will be working with a well-qualified and expert team, the leading Workday partner for automated testing globally, with a customer base of >350, many of which are household names.

And we're growing both in terms of revenues and customers, but also in terms of our service offerings and the team.

This is an opportunity to join at a crucial time to put your stamp on our products and services and how we continue to lead in our market.

The position offers opportunities for the right person to grow into other areas within the Kainos business.


The position Senior Workday Product Consultant will reside within the Product Innovation Team and will work closely with our product team, customers and prospects with the support from the Smart Solution Architect to help shape and maintain the AI/ML product roadmap and ensure that all Workday product solutions created are scalable for the future.

The role-holder will have the opportunity and support to build their expertise and will be expected to:

  • Have a very good understanding of Workday products either/or HCM/Financials/Payroll as well as any specialist capability
  • Provide detailed expert knowledge of Workday security and data models
  • Design, create and performance test Workday custom reports as required
  • Work closely with data scientists and engineers to define the requirements and specifications for AI/ML models, ensuring they address business problems effectively and align with the overall product strategy and maintain this roadmap.
  • Lead the design of solutions, ensuring alignment with requirements agreed with stakeholders
  • Ensure that major design decisions are both impact and risk assessed, tradeoffs captured and rationale for the final decisions recorded
  • Produce highlevel solution design documentation ('just enough' documentation approach) ensuring that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of what is to be built, deployed, run and monitored.
  • Ensure solutions developed adhere to existing Kainos design principals and standards.
  • Provide training and mentoring and support to other colleagues so that they can quickly and effectively develop to the Audit solutions as specified


Although we are currently working on a virtual/flexible base, in the future the role holder will need to be flexible to travel if required to customer and partner locations worldwide.

In the near future, for the right person, the role could evolve to include additional customer-facing consulting type aspects.

This would include engaging with customers to support design and implementation of Smart solutions to meet their specific need and/or to help them mature towards best practice:
Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution)


Essential:


  • Experience working in a related services/consulting role as a certified Workday analyst/consul
