    Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) at Woodlands Care Home

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Care Home in Aberdeen. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain cleanliness throughout the care home, adhering to company policies and best practices.
    • Perform all cleaning tasks in line with hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
    • Clean and protect various floor surfaces, including carpets and hard floors.
    • Clean and maintain furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard.
    • Clean and replenish sanitary fixtures and fittings, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked.
    • Remove refuse regularly and dispose of it properly.
    • Clean vertical surfaces without the use of access equipment.
    • Assist with the daily well-being of residents, helping them settle into their new environment.
    • Manage laundry effectively, ensuring it meets guidance and expectations. Safely handle and label personal belongings.
    • FOLLOW health and safety protocols, infection prevention, and fire safety regulations within the laundry and wider care environment.
    • Work closely with other staff members to ensure that laundry services and overall cleanliness are maintained effectively.
