Chasing the Stigma is a national health charity working to ensure that everyone can access clear pathways to mental health support whenever and wherever they need it.

We strive to achieve our mission through the provision of pioneering training, awareness-raisingcampaigns and lobbying, whilst also operating the UK's largest and most comprehensive directory of community mental health services, the Hub of Hope.

Liverpool or hybrid working with a flexible, life and family-friendly employer


  • Salary: £38,000£44,000_
  • Permanent role, 35 days full time or 4 days _
  • 28 days holiday + bank + birthday _

About the role:


You'll grow Chasing the Stigma's reputation, brand and status as one of the leading mental health charities in the UK, and the nation's go-to provider of mental health signposting, training and organisational wellbeing support.


Leading the development and implementation of a brand-new communications and marketing strategy, you'll use tactical marcomms to help achieve the aims and objectives of an emerging organisational business plan focused on increasing the charity's reach andimpact.


What can you expect to do day-to-day?

  • Awareness of current media agenda with a good nose for a story, you're able to activate PR/media relations
  • Implement a tactical marcomms plan to ensure daily tasks are delivered, ensuring visibility for key stakeholders across the UK
  • Work across a range of engagement and communications platforms from press and PR to social media and traditional marketing
  • Generate maximum exposure for the charity's increasing partnerships with highprofile organisations across a range of industries and sectors
  • Define and evolve the charity's brand identity, voice and persona, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop key messaging, tone, imagery, assets and activations

About you:

You've got a solid underpinning across the full communications and marketing mix.

You're happy to roll your sleeves up and still 'do the doing' until the organisation's growth plans come to fruition and in a position to add capacity.

We're looking for exceptional communication skills, someone who can showcase strategy development, operational delivery, and demonstrable leadership skills too.
