About the role:

We are hiring a Logistics Supervisor within our busy logistics team based at Manchester Science Park.

The Logistics Supervisor will manage day to day operations of the warehouse, dispatch and finished product packing activities to ensure that stock levels of Yourgene Health products are suitably maintained and distribution to customers is performed efficiently upon receipt of orders.

The Logistics Supervisor will support the Logistics Team in all areas of logistics, providing cover during times of absence and being a team player to ensure all timeframes are adhered to.

The is a full-time and permanent position.

Key responsibilities:

Update and maintain all affiliate / export shipping procedures needed to ensure all customer requirements adhered to.
Oversee day to day requirements ensuring deadlines met
Manage relationships with Affiliate / Export customer services and 3PL shipping team ensuring clear understanding of both teams' roles and responsibilities.
Facilitate the forecasting and scheduling of packing runs incl. Line Clearances and completion of Packing Paperwork.
Preparation and completion of packing documentation
Packing goods ready for dispatch.
Manage documentation for the area including purchase orders, delivery notes, goods received notes etc and the preparation and completion of dispatch documentation.
Ensure training of team to issue and provide certificates from Chamber of Commerce, QA departments and Customs / Freight forwarders when required. Ensure compliance of documents issued.
Oversee preshipment inspections / specific customer requirements
Liaise Freight Forwarders/Insurance Claims
Ensure freight costs reconciled in timely manner
Ensure correct documentation retained for legal and audit purposes
Departmental measures (KPI on shipments accuracy, on time shipment, on time invoicing,)
Ensure the prompt receipt and booking in of Materials
Ensure goods and materials are stored appropriately to cGMP
Manage documentation for the area including purchase orders, delivery notes, goods received notes etc
Preparing and picking of materials for upstream business processes
Maintenance of stock records
Cycle counting and stock taking
Packing goods ready for dispatch
Dispatching of finished product to customers
Ensuring packing requirements and schedules are achieved
Facilitate the forecasting and scheduling of packing runs
Packing line clearance
Preparation and completion of packing documentation
Support customer order tracking and customer order service training and support, when required
