One of our clients is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to join their Grocery & Retail Domain team. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering scalable, high-quality iOS solutions for customer-facing applications used by millions globally.

Your Role
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will lead the design and development of high-priority mobile features, ensuring scalability, performance, and technical excellence. You will collaborate with Product Managers, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams across London, Bristol, and Berlin.
This role requires strong technical ownership, proactive collaboration, and a commitment to delivering world-class mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Product Collaboration
- Participate in feature definition workshops with Product Managers and engineering teams
- Contribute technical insights during discovery and planning phases
Technical Ownership & Delivery
- Develop high-quality iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
- Deliver scalable, maintainable, and reusable components
- Own features end-to-end from development to production stability
Engineering Excellence
- Implement unit, UI, and integration testing
- Contribute to CI workflows and continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply modern iOS architecture and best practices
Architecture & Performance
- Ensure strong understanding of memory management, concurrency (GCD, async/await), and data flow
- Utilize Swift Package Manager and modern tooling
- Maintain high standards of code readability and efficiency
Collaboration & Guild Contribution
- Share best practices within the iOS guild
- Contribute to technical standards and development patterns
- Communicate progress transparently across teams
Accessibility & Inclusivity
- Ensure apps are designed and built with accessibility and inclusive design principles
Your Profile
- Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
- Deep understanding of iOS app lifecycle, memory management, and concurrency
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to design modular, reusable components
- Familiarity with Swift Package Manager and modern development tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ownership mindset
- Passion for building high-performance, user-centric mobile apps
