CK Group are recruiting for an Clinical Study Assistant to join a company in the Clinical Research industry working either on site in Torpoint, Cornwall on a contract basis for 3 months initially.

This position is a part time role, working 24 hours per week.

Location:

This Clinical Study Assistant role is based on site in Torpoint, Cornwall

Clinical Study Assistant Role:

Verify and correct research study information on source documents.
Research queries and variances, and provide feedback to the site data collector
Input research study data into trial ElectronicData Capture (EDC) system, maintaining quality control for content, accuracy, and completeness
Prepare and maintain research study files
Assist in maintenance of regulatory documentation
Input visit data into Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to track patient visits and procedures completed against the study budget
Perform various administrative support functions such as reception, office organization, and office supply management

Your Background:

BS/BA in life sciences or educational equivalent and/or relevant work experience in a clinical environment or medical setting; e.g. clinical research coordinator, nurse, medical assistant
Knowledge of clinical trials & medical terminology
Indepth knowledge of departmental, protocol and studyspecific operating procedures, consent forms, and study schedules
Excellent interpersonal skills
