South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust manages the South Tees Retinal Screening Service which provides a comprehensive Diabetic Retinal Screening service across the South Tees area.

The service provides annual diabetic eye screening to just under 30,000 patients across Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and the Hambleton and Richmond areas of North Yorkshire.


This post offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to provide screening and disease grading to national standards.

The overall aim is to reduce the incidence of new blindness in the diabetic population.
