Solent Mobility and Shepherd Hospital Equipment are leading providers of mobility aids and equipment in the south of England. We are a family-run business with a passion for helping people live more independent and fulfilling lives. We also provide service and repairs to a number of mobility equipment in various hospitals across the UK.


As a content creator at Solent Mobility Centre, you will be responsible for crafting compelling stories that engage and inspire our audience.

You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our brand values and business goals.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented apprentice to join our marketing team as a content creator.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of marketing disciplines, including branding and advertising, brochure and flyer design, e-shot creation, website content development, social media management, offer marketing, and video creation.


As an apprentice content creator, you will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with our brand values and business goals.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality content that engages and inspires our target audience across a variety of channels.

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSEs grade A*C/94 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
Training to be provided

You will undertake the ground-breaking Apprentify Content Creator Level 3 apprenticeship.


We have designed our programme to offer you a distinct route into your chosen career path and specialise in researching, preparing, and developing content to maximise audience engagement.

Content creators capture the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the customer, client or business.

During the 13 months of training, you will learn the most up to date theory and industry practices across 11 carefully structured Modules covering the duties that are required as a Content Creator:

  • Plan and develop creative content in line with the brief and budget/costs.
  • Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
  • Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
  • Develop and create written content that can be used across a variety of media.
  • Create visual and audio content that can be used across a variety of media.
  • Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
