The Vacancy:


Key tasks and responsibilities:


  • To performs activities to ensure that the Charging team meet contractual requirements and KPI's.
  • To help report and monitor workflows and performance information.
  • To help deliver training and support to team members.
  • To help coach, mentor and motivate existing and new staff members.
  • To be a point of escalation for resolution of queries and issues from customers, clients and colleagues, including complaint handling.
  • Support service line initiatives and strategy.
  • Help produce monthly and adhoc reports for reporting, monitoring and managing.
  • To quality assure work, checking against various systems and sources.
  • To investigate, resolve, refer and follow up queries to ensure a high standard of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • To help implement new procedures and changes as required.
  • To work alongside the management team to continually improve the service delivery.

Essential Skills and Attributes:


  • Experience of working in an charging and billing role at a senior level
  • Excellent prioritising, planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to respond to changing demands
  • Excellent reconciliation experience
  • Experience of producing procedure documents and using these to train and coach team members
  • Experience of dealing with customer enquiries and complaints to a very high standard and to respond to these in a variety of formats.
  • To be able to analyse and report on current performance and monitor these to the required compliance and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
