Our Leicester-based client, a successful family-owned manufacturer is looking to grow their finance team, hiring a Financial Accountant to join their expanding team.

A newly created Financial Accountant role focusing on reporting and control would make a significant move from practice, or for a technically industry-trained accountant who is looking to increase their experience and challenge themselves in a new role

Responsibilities:

Preparing statutory accounts
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances
Bank payment authorisation and cash flow management
Balance sheet reconciliations
Support monthend and close yearend process
Assisting with audit processes
Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control

They are considering newly qual/part qual Financial Accountants.
