_The Opportunity _

The Land Referencing Searching will be supporting clients by producing a range of documentation and assistance with digital mapping services.

You will be establishing ownership and other rights by investigating the land, sasine and other registers as well as confirming details by interpreting deeds and documents.

Your findings will be plotted to the digital map base by your mapping colleagues.

Your role will include:

Ensuring reports are completed accurately, in a timely manner and targeted levels are met
Creating, maintaining and updating a range of digital datasets including plotting and data entry of attribute information and metadata.
Checking of Mapping and visualisation of spatially referenced property ownership data
Assisting with map publishing, document production and scanning as required
Processing internal requests for information, publications, mapping etc
Preparing site, statutory and conveyancing notices and plans as required

_ About you_

To be successful as the Land Referencing Searcher you will come from a similar role or be able to demonstrate an extensive attention to detail.

You will have a strong understanding of Sasine Deeds/Title sheets and have excellent administration skills.

You will also have/be:

Extensive Sasine and land register searching experience (preferred)
Experience of using GIS mapping systems (preferred)
Strong problem solving skills
In depth knowledge of products and services both produced and resold by Millar & Bryce
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Good time management
Ability to work under direction, as part of a team and on own initiative
