We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and proactive person to support our weight management service.


Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen to join the team of over 30 Dietitians in the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as a Band 6 Dietitian specialising in Tier 3 Weight Management.


This post is based at Acomb Garth Community Care Centre, in the cultural city of York and close proximity to the picturesque Yorkshire coast and North York Moors.

We are looking to recruit a Dietitian with experience in weight management.

You will join a friendly department of over 30 Dietitians across 2 sites.

This post sits within a supportive clinical multi-disciplinary team comprising of a consultant Endocrinologist, Physiotherapist, Counsellor and Bariatric surgical nurse practitioner.

This post will provide specialist Dietetic care for patients living with obesity in the outpatient setting.

The service manages up to 100 patients per year, with the focus on delivering multi-disciplinary care through group education sessions.

There is also the requirement to assess and review patients on an individual basis as part of their care within the weight management programme.
