Join our dynamic team as a Workplace Team Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping a vibrant and engaging workplace environment.

As a key ambassador of exceptional workplace experiences, you will have the opportunity to drive the customer touchpoint journey, creating a placemaking culture that resonates with our esteemed financial services client, ISS, and our valued clients.


Based at the prestigious UK London headquarters of our financial services client, you will be part of the innovative Workplace Experience team.

Your primary responsibility will be to curate a workplace environment that fosters well-being, boosts productivity, and nurtures a culture that our users actively seek to be a part of.


As the Workplace Team Lead, you will directly oversee workplace services for various business groups situated across multiple floors in the building.

In this role, you will act as a Line Manager for a group of Workplace Coordinators, ensuring exceptional service delivery to over 500 users per floor.

Furthermore, you will take the lead in a specific workplace knowledge/skill discipline, contributing to the broader ISS FM contract.


Reporting to and collaborating with the Workplace Manager, you will forge strong relationships with our business group clients and work closely with key stakeholders in IFM/GCS.

Together, you will develop and implement impactful workplace experience activities and initiatives.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the ISS account management team, as well as oversee a dedicated team of Workplace Coordinators.


Key Responsibilities

  • The face of 'IFM' and the first point of contact for all users
  • Responsible for the customer experience through the performance of facilities management services in the business area including bespoke support requirements to meet the needs of the specific business group and team
  • Ensuring effective communication with the nominated business manager(s), proactive with a 'no surprises' principle
  • Actively monitor the standard of IFM service on the floor and report any shortcomings, identifying areas of improvement in delivery of the services and processes and implement change as required
  • Ensuring HSE guidelines and regulations are understood, delivering Tool Box Talks to the team
  • Evacuation warden duties including the coordination of evacuation wardens on floors during any BCM incidents
  • First Aid response and first aid stock management

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • 3 years' experience in a relevant customer service / workplace experience environment, delivering services at a 5* quality level
  • Numeracy and literacy certification / qualification
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in the use of word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Operational experience of leading others, senior team member
  • Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic with can do attitude
  • Selfstarter able to work under minimum supervision
