Who are we looking for?


An enthusiastic individual who has experience in coordinating the workload of a team and able to delegate tasks to meet SLA's.

Ideally the individual should be diligent and have a good eye for detail.

We are looking for a team player who is able to work well on their own as well as within a small team.

Microsoft Office skills at a moderate level would be advantageous.


About the role (External):


What does the average day look like?
In this role you will assist productivity adherence, minimise work queues and achieve agreed standards.

You will compile, produce and publish key planning publications, notices, controlled documents and regulatory reports pertinent to Operational Planning & Performance to appropriate company standards and processes in a timely and accurate fashion.

As well as maintaining and updating reference data for planning and performance systems.


In addition, you will assist the transfer and validation of data between Network Rail and external systems, updating and maintaining distribution databases.

Which includes notifying recipients, monitoring the receipting process and taking action as appropriate. You will provide support for publications such as maintaining the schedule, lists of controlled documents, recipients, and delivery processes.

Including engaging with end users in both the provision and improvement of support for publications, answering queries on document control, standards and other publication queries.

You will assist with the implementation of systems development. Also assisting in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Day to day you will undertake the role in a way that is consistent with, and reinforces, Network Rail's values.
