Here at Alexander Steele Recruitment we are working in partnership with a global food manufacturer who supply quality products to some of the worlds biggest food brands.

We are supporting them to find a Raw Materials Planner to join them at their site in Hertfordshire.

The role:

Reporting to the Purchasing manager, the Raw Materials Planner will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between internal and external stakeholders according to daily and weekly production schedules and forecasts.

Accountabilities of the role will include;

Running MRP and demand reports and place orders with suppliers as required.
Make sure daily production requirements are achieved including chasing suppliers for confirmations.
Prepare documentation needed for production and raw materials.
Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished good demands.
Maintain master data.
Communication with teams to ensure the flow of materials and documentation to meet production and customer demands.
Escalation of complex issues and queries to management.
At least 1 year working in a similar role working within manufacturing and with MRP/ERP systems.
Excellent numerical skills.
Good communication and excellent organisational skills.
Be able to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
